Ryuuzaki Sakuno was you regular everyday girl. She went to school, went to tennis practice, did her chores and homework, and hung out with her friends.
Today, in particular, was another day that the Seigaku Tennis Team had a competition. Her friend Osakada Tomoka decided that they HAD to go because her "Ryoma-sama" would be there.
Sakuno was walking by the park at 8 in the morning to get to the courts they were using for the competition (Tomoka wanted to get there early for better seats) when she heard a faint meow above her head.
She looked up to see a cute little cat stuck on one of the branches in the tree. Being the kind girl she was, she decided to help the poor thing. Also being the clumsy person she was, she somehow managed to get stuck in the tree as well. An hour passed and she just barely had the cat in her arms when her foot slipped and she fell.
Sakuno clutched the cat, closed her eyes, and screamed. She waited for the pain to come but she realized that there were arms around her. And as she looked up, bewildered at what happened, she heard someone's voice saying, "Mada mada dane."
She paused. She knew that voice. And she only knew one person who said that. As she turned to the person holding her she saw the familiar smirk of Echizen Ryoma, the Prince of Tennis. The one who's competition she was about to go watch!
He set her down and walked off and she just stared as he left...until she realized that she was supposed to meet Tomoka at the gates of the tennis courts an hour ago.
Sakuno ran as fast as she could to get there and when she did Tomoka questioned why she was so late, where she had been, what she had been doing...and why she was holding a cat.
Can anyone guess who the cat is? (If you can't then shame on you)
