Step...step...step
Sonic spun round, shining the torch behind him, only to see a empty corridor with curtains flowing in the wind, other than Sonic's torch the only light source was the moons shine through the windows.
Step...step...step
Sonic turned again and slowly continued through was seemed like a endless corridor
Step...Step...Step
it was getting closer, Sonic looked around frantically and took off down the hallway. Suddenly he bumped into something, it felt like a body, Sonic fell to the ground. The blue hedgehog looked up to see a black and red hedgehog with shining white eyes staring back at him "oh-my-god!" Sonic shuffled backwards before clambering and staggering to his feet, taking off in the other direction. He turned his head whilst running "what the hell is going on! Where did he go!" Sonic came to a standstill, looking around for the hedgehog.
Step Step Step...*moan*
"what the fu- gah!" Suddenly the hedgehog was in front of Sonic and had him gripped around his throat. The black hedgehog turned his head to the side, Sonic stared into his glowing eyes as blood began to pour from the hedgehogs eyes and mouth.
"Why?" "Shadow?!" Sonic's eyes widened as the grip around his throat loosened and Shadow fell back, hitting the floor "SHADOW!" Sonic fell to his knee's, but as he went to grab Shadow, the black hedgehog deteriorated, leaving nothing a large pool of black blood and a note reading: why? Sonic looked around as everything went black and melted away, and he was left falling through an abyss.
"GAH!" Sonic awoke, sitting up in his bed, sweat pouring from his face, he turned to the window, only to see complete darkness apart from the occasional lightening strike. It was raining heavily. The blue hedgehog pulled the covers from himself and sat on the edge of the bed, his head in his hands. "why" playing over and over in his head "what did he mean? What as that nightmare all about?" Sonic's mind was overwhelmed with questions and no answers. The blue hedgehog stared out of the window, gazing at the moon.
