Who knows how Mel and Joe get togehter? I want to skip to a little conversation, 5 months before their wedding.

"I want the blue!"
"Is the purple really that bad?!"
"It's always what you want!" Mel and Joe sat on the couch in the living room, holding wedding invitations. Once again, Joe and Mel were fighting over who was right, and this time with what color their wedding invitations should be.
"Even though we are getting married, you CAN'T give me the silent treatment!" Joe demanded. Mel glared at him. Did he not understand ANYTHING?
"My mother is very judgefull. She will judge you and me by the color of our stupid invitations. I'm trying to save you!" Mel said. Joe's moth fell open.
"Oh, now they are stupid, Burke?"
"What? Oh never mind, Longo. I was just saying that my mom likes purple and I want her to be happy so she won't bother me." "Mel," Joe began,"You do realize that this is OUR wedding and not YOUR MOM'S?" Mel rolled her eyes.
"Do you have a brain? Obviously I know that. I said yes, didn't I?" Joe nodded. Mel smiled. "Okay. Blue it is. I have to go make dinner for Lennox and Ryder." Joe mumbled in a rather moody tone. Just as he was about to get up, Mel grabbed his hand.
"I love you." She said. Joe nodded and kissed her lightly.
"I love you more." He answered. Joe left the room and Mel leaned back, put her feet on the coffee table, and closed her eyes. She smiled and dreamt of her future wedding with Joe Longo.
