I probably shouldn't be calling you that now should I? I know you don't forgive me, I never expected you to anyway, I just wanted you to know that I didn't know the bombs were being used for that. Do you really think I'd want to hurt her?

I live in district two now, I'm the face of the "New Panem" program. I found a girl, she's nice, nothing like you; she's the complete opposite, gentle, calm, romantic, laidback.

I guess I was a fool for thinking everything would be the same after the games, I thought that you would come home, and I would look after you, that I would be the one fending of the night mares, keeping you safe. But really, it was always going to be Peeta, wasn't it, he was the only one who knew what it was like in the arena, the only one who could really keep the nightmares away, because he had them too.

We are so different, Peeta and I, I made bombs without a second thought, he went into the arena trying not to kill, I blew up the nut with fathers, brothers, sons inside, just because they weren't rebels, he says that killing someone takes everything you are, I know that now.

You, Catnip, and me, we wouldn't be good together, we're to filled with fire, with rage, a black mist that clouds all our decisions. But you and Peeta, you're perfect, he calms you, he cools you down, he pacifies your anger and hurt with love, pure love, and he saves you without you even realising it. Finnick told me once that love creeps up on you, now I know he meant your love for Peeta.

Maybe, I knew all along that you loved Peeta, but I was just so in love with you my self that I ignored it, and made myself believe that you loved me; in the same way that I loved you.

Grasp onto that love Katniss, don't ever let go, it may be one of the only things left in this world.
