The rain was heavy. The fog was thick. The street lights barely illuminated the ground where they stood and the streets were empty. Except for her.
"Why can't you be like your sister? All this crap you pull with your dumb ass friends, sneaking in at late hours of the night!"

The tears rained down on her face, mixing with the rain, as she walked, holding her arms around herself.
"Look at this report card! An A-? What the hell do you think we got those tutors for?"
*shove, slam*
The night was cold, the rain slipping through her coat, running down her head to slide down her neck, sending chills through her spine. She kept walking anyway.
"I thought I told you to clean this damn house? Your sister wouldn't have left a speck of dust if she was here!"
*slap, slam, grunt*
She didn't know where she was going, but anywhere was better then back there. She let her feet scrape against the concrete with every step.
"Hey big sis! Will you pway with me today?"
"Sure thing sweetie, but sissy has a few things to do first, k?"
"Pwomise?"
"Promise"
She stopped walking, standing there looking up at the rain as she stood in the middle of the road. She lost track of time as the night went on, oblivious to her.
"Sissy will you wead a stowy?"
"Sure sweetie, but sissy has a couple things to finsh up k?"
"Pwomise?"
"Promise"
Car lights were bright as they flashed in front of here eyes. She paid them no mind. The car stopped and out came an older looking version of herself. Her eyes widened.
"Noooo..sissy don't want you to weave!"
"It's ok sweetie, It won't be forever, I'll come back soon."
"Pwomise?"
"S-Sissy?" a shy, strangled voice questioned. There was only a bright smile in return.
"Promise."
