Title : The Perfect Gift
Author : Britt
Rating : PG-13
Pairing : Nat/Stephen
Disclaimer : They aren't mine. It sucks.
Summary : He always was good at giving gifts.
A/N : This is completely random. It has nothing to do with Christmas. I just felt that there needed to be some more semi-smut Nathen stories. Even though it isn't really smut.

Staring at the ceiling Natalie sighed before rolling over onto her side to face the wall. She laid there for a few minutes before turning to look back at the clock. 3:49am. Another sigh and she rolled back over, closing her eyes once more. She laid that way for a few minutes before she heard footsteps in the hallway and the sound of a door opening. Probably Jack sneaking down for food again, she though. When the footsteps stopped she shook her head and buried her face in the pillow. The door to her room opened and the footsteps came closer.
She felt the bed sink and a hand come over her eyes. Before she had a chance to scream another hand covered her mouth before pulling away to allow a kiss to be placed there. "Happy Birthday" The voice was rough and sleepy, and she definitely knew that it was no longer Jack.
"What are you doing?" The hand over her eyes moved to her hair and the one on her mouth down to her shoulder.
"Hm." He plopped down beside her, pulling her to face him. "You're supposed to be kissed on your birthday."
"You have the whole day, why now?" She tried her best to sound annoyed but the look on his face wouldn't let her stay that way.
"Because, it was the exact time you were born." He smiled before kissing her nose, pulling her closer.
"It's not New Year's Eve Stephen, you don't have to kiss me at a certain time." She snuggled against him before a thought crossed her mind. "How the hell did you know what time I was born at?"
"Birth Certificate." Again, he smiled, this time placing a kiss to each of her eyelids.
"I knew I shouldn't have let you see those books."
"Mhm." He kissed her lips gently before pulling back and looking her in the eyes. "So what does the birthday girl wanna do today?"
"Sleep." She smiled when another thought crossed her mind. "Too bad you picked this weekend to let Jack stay with you, you could've gotten lucky."
A look of horror and disappointment crossed his face. "You are one evil woman Natalie Durant."
"I know." This time he attacked her neck with kisses and she giggled when he bit down gently.
"We can just pawn him off on Miles for a few hours." Pulling back he looked at her, smiling suggestively.
"Sounds good? But what are we gonna do until then?"
He raised an eyebrow before moving to nibble on her ear. "Make-out?"
She laughed, pulling the covers over their heads. "Sounds like a perfect birthday present to me."
