Sheldon tried to focus once again on the equations he was facing. He's been trying to figure it out for a while, hopelessly forcing himself to ignore his wife and daughter that were playing in that same room.

"Why don't we see if we can persuade daddy to take a break?" Amy suddenly said to the girl in her arms. Sheldon turned, and found that they had approached him.

"Call him." Amy asked Marie. "Call 'Daddy!'"

The soon one-year-old girl shyly smiled, and looked at Sheldon. Then she pointed at him and finally exclaimed: "Dad - ddy!"

They both looked proudly to her. She had already pronounced her first words, and called her mother many times - but it was the first time she actually called her father.

Still, Sheldon tried to play it cool.

"That's right dear, I'm your daddy." He said. "But you know, you should learn to call me 'Dr. Cooper' as well. In public, at least."

Amy shook her head, smiling. "Seriously?" She asked. "You want your daughter to call you that? At her age?"

"Of course" Sheldon exclaimed. "She's our child, and as such she has a superior intellect. She totally can say it already."

He looked down to Marie, "Of course you can." He gently told her. "Say 'Dr. Cooper'!"

The baby girl stared at him, puzzled. She turned back to Amy, and then again to Sheldon with a big smile.

"Dad - ddy!"

Amy let out a soft laugh, and Marie joined her. As for Sheldon, he could only surrender to the younger Cooper.

"Just like your mother," He said, placing a tender kiss on her forehead. "You get always your way with me."
