Frustration
(One-shot)
Summary
What if things didn't turn out the way it should be? What if Shindou Hikaru doesn't have the talent for playing Go?
BANG!
Touya Meijin, Ashiwara 4-dan and, Ogata Judan all jerked in surprise when they heard the door being slammed hard.
"Shindou, you idiot!"
All of them stopped playing and rushed to the door to check what was going on. They opened the sliding door slightly and could see Touya Meijin's son Akira kicking the sofa in frustration.
"Why won't you play with me, you fucking asshole?!"
"I'm already a pro and you still won't play with me?! Damn you! You think I'm still not good enough to beat you, you son of a bitch!"
"What are you afraid of?! That I'll win back the two loses I had against you?"
"You said you'll be in the tournament! But you weren't there, you gaki! I joined that stupid go club to force you to play with me, only to learn that your school didn't have enough players to join the tournament!"
"Damn you! And now, you play as Sai in the internet but you still won't play me? You rejected my challenge when you learned that 'Akira' was me?!"
"What the hell do you want me to do for you to play against me?!"
"Get a title first? Defeat my father and Ogata-san?"
"If that's what you want, so be it!"
Akira gave the sofa one final kick before he stomped towards his room and slammed the door shut.
Ashiwara 4-dan blinked as he tried to encode into his brain that entire scene.
"Ano… I never realized Akira-kun can show other emotions other than being poker-faced..."
Ogata chuckled. "He even knows a lot of colorful languages. It seems that our titles are in danger. Don't you think so, Touya-sensei?"
Touya Meijin just gave a loud sigh and massaged his temple.
"Nee Sai?" a kid with bleached bangs called to his ghost companion.
Sai looked up from the goban to his friend. "Hmm?"
"Have I improved?"
Sai winced. "Y-yeah, a little…"
Shindou Hikaru sighed. "I guess Touya has to wait a little more."
