Sakura opened the door to the bar she was just in, cold midnight air refreshing her skin, skimming over it. She closed her eyes in a drunken fantasy, imagining that the soft breeze was Sasuke's fingers. That one night so long ago was relived for a few seconds till a few guys walked out of the bar and ruined the moment of love. Sakura started down the path to her apartment. The stars lit the path but her intoxicated mind found it hard to remember anything but her obsession.

The more she walked, the more the night sky began to look like her evil angel, walking away again. Tear tracks glittered in the moons light. Naruto couldn't get him home, how was she going to get him back?... Naruto had spent so many more nights with the raven than she had, but his absence affected him less… Could Sasuke have trusted Naruto with the information that he was going to leave one of the nights they had shared a bed? Had Sasuke been with Naruto that very night, his sweat still on the Uchiha's skin as he left for good?

Sakura glared at the door of Naruto's apartment as she walked by. He was so fortunate. The love she would have killed for, he got effortlessly. Those damned blue eyes that even she couldn't really hate, Sasuke had treasured them above all else.

Wind washed over her face again and mixed in leaves from the fall trees. She sighed. Sasuke was never going to love her, she didn't have a chance.

Sakura unlocked her door and walked into the dark, not bothering to turn on the lights. For many nights she had planned this, gone through moments where she thought she would never do it, and moments where it was the only choice. But now she knew. Even she loved Naruto, how could she expect Sasuke to leave the beautiful boy for her?

She pulled a kunai out of her pouch on her night stand and lay down on her bed. The pain would be there, of that she was sure, but it could not be worse than this nothingness. She sliced deeply first into her right wrist, then her left.

Another sigh left her mouth. Never would she be haunted by those charcoal eyes again, never would she have to watch his back as her left her again. Her vision became blurry and she found it hard to think. Now Naruto would have him…

"But Sasuke…. I still love you." Her life was lost as her blue blanket soaked up the flooding blood. Her last thought was of her and Sasuke, one where they walked down a beautiful street filled with cherry blossom trees, the petals in her hair, and their hands clasped in that false love that clouded her mind.
