Alec Meets Agramon
I was planning a fluffy Malec fic, but I ended up with this .-. I just re-read it and corrected the grammar and spelling errors (except I'm refusing to change colour to color, because I'm English xD)
What would happen if Alec met Agramon?
Agramon - "the Demon of Fear. Agramon takes the form of whatever most terrifies you. When it is done feeding on your fear, it kills you, presuming you are still alive at that point."
At first glance, Alec thought that the small room was empty. Turning around to leave, something caught his eye, a slight movement in the shadows. Pulling out his Seraph blade, he named it, "Abrariel!" As the blade glowed, the thing in the corner was slightly illuminated - and it was - sparkly?
The Shadowhunter took a dizzy step backwards, his ocean blue eyes widening in shock. He fumbled around in his pocket for his witch-light stone. Somewhat reluctantly, he moved his fingers, letting the light escape into the dark room, exposing the shadowed figure.
A familiar looking man was standing in the corner. Alec dropped his gaze to the floor, not wanting to look up, to see him standing here, of all places. His eyes came to rest on a pair of orange boots, worn under tight neon yellow jeans. It was him, there was no denying it. What was he doing here? Had Valentine captured him, too?
"Alec".
He instinctively looked up, then immediately regretted it. He saw the all too familiar spiked black hair, with excesses of glitter worked into it. Alec's gaze lingered on the hair, avoiding his eyes.
"Look at me". And he looked. Why? He didn't know. He just couldn't deny that voice, he thought, as their eyes met, his deep blue into the other man's amber. The same eyes that have been haunting his dreams, not letting his forget his love.
"Magnus".
"Alec" he repeated. "Are you okay? Come closer", he beckoned. About to obediently take a step forward, something in his mind clicked. This isn't right. There's something wrong…this isn't like Magnus at all…
He stood there, staring at the man who he was stupidly in love with, trying to work out what wasn't right. Realizing Alec had not obeyed his command, the man's previously soft, caring face twisted into a horrible, glaring sneer.
"Foolish boy" he hissed, his eyes becoming cold, icy…
And he lurched forward. He stopped about a foot in front of the confused Shadowhunter boy, then surprisingly, he gently leaned forwards, so their faces were barely a few centimeters apart.
"You are in love with me". It was a statement, a fact, not a question.
Alec opened his mouth, in protest, about to deny it. But he knew he couldn't, and so he shut it again, hardening his expression. What on earth is wrong with Magnus?
"But you also love someone else," and as Magnus spoke, his eyes changed again, they seemed to slowly drain of colour.
"He will never love you back, you know. He can't. You're chasing an impossible dream."
And as the hateful words came out of his mouth, Alec felt dizzy, as if he were spiralling, his head pounding. He tried to block out the words, block out the horrible reality. He knew that Jace could never love him back, but he liked to pretend. Just like he knew that Magnus didn't love him as much as Alec loved the Warlock, but he liked to believe. Hearing these cruel, uncaring words come from Magnus was too much for him.
"And he hates you. He hates you for your cowardice. In his eyes, you are useless. A failure".
With that, Alec looked into Magnus' eyes, completely shocked at what the older man was saying. His eyes were completely drained of colour, now a bright, opaque white.
The black walls seemed to be spinning, closing in on him; the metal floor felt as if it was giving way - and he could not see for the darkness.
The voice spoke again, a final time before Alec fell uncontrollably into the darkness.
"And in my eyes, you are too".
Thanks for reading, Review?
