Minato stared down at his dead wife cradling their son. "I'm so sorry son, I'll be leaving you alone in this world." He leant down and pressed a kiss to Kushina's forehead before picking up his son to go see Sarutobi to tell him he's going to take the Hat again.

After he found him...
"Sarutobi-sama, I am going out to seal that beast into my son, make sure he's seen as a hero."
"Won't that kill you? Is that your final wish?"
"Yes, sir, it is."
"You mean you'll be leaving me the hat again?"
"That's right."
"OH HELL NO! YOU ARE NOT MAKING ME DO THAT PAPERWORK EVER AGAIN!" Sarutobi knocks him out, grabs Naruto and the sealing plans and heads off to the Kyuubi.
After he is ready to seal the Kyuubi into Naruto he speaks to the fox.
"Now, I'm sure you won't like this, but I have to seal you into him, so his father doesn't do it and make me Hokage again. I mean really, one long term of that godforsaken paperwork was enough, I'm not going to do that again, I'm sure you know how that is, being the King of Demons and all.. I swear he was going to seal you just to get out of it. That may be what I'm doing, but at least a have a lesser, but more honorable reason right? I'm going to make sure this kid has a dad. You can understand that right?"
He nearly shit his pants when Kyuubi replied to him.
"Paperwork is evil. Sure, us demons are considered evil, but paperwork is pure evil, it can multiply itself, and it's always around, haunting you. Gawsh, I had to come up here to escape it all. Heck, I'll probably enjoy being in the boy, at least there shouldn't be any paperwork in there."
"Glad we came to an understanding, enjoy your stay, I'm going to die now."
"Goodbye mortal. Thanks for helping me get away from my paperwork."
"Anytime."
And with that Sarutobi died, Kyuubi was able to get out of doing paperwork for a good half-century, Naruto had a dad, and Minato suffered the curse of the evil paperwork. Orochimaru, as Otokage, finally realized that he should never have become a kage, and that paperwork is Pure and Utter EVIL. He died at the age of 51 when he drowned in paperwork.
