The Waltz

Purin-chan: ::waves:: Did anyone miss me? I haven't posted in this category for::counts:: about three weeks now! Well here's a short little F/F fanficcie I did. Would've been better if I wrote this during my obsession with them u.u;;;.

Disclaimer: I don't own anything except the fic. Rawrdo we have to write these disclaimers all the time? They annoy me to death.

"I'd love to."

Those three simple words got Fuu out on the dance floor with Ferio. He had guided her out slowly, then skillfully led them into a slow waltz. Her pale green dress floated behind her, making her seem to dance on air.

She noticed Hikaru and Eagle dancing together out of the corner of her eye. She smiled softly, happy for her friend, and continued waltzing around the dance floor with Ferio.

Her gaze locked with his, golden eyes entrancing emerald ones. They danced like that for a time, ignoring the world around them and thinking thoughts only of one another.

She could see exactly how much he loved her in those eyes of his. No, it was too powerful to hold in just two orbs. He loved her much, much more than what could be seen.

Their eyes broke away from one another once again, and this time Fuu saw Umi and Clef dancing. Umi smiled back at her and flashed a ring on her left hand. Fuu grinned widely and mouthed the word, "Congratulations," just before their eye contact was cut off.

The dance became more graceful, filling the air with the magic of their love. Fuu looked back into Ferio's eyes, noticing the want in his expression. Caught up in the atmosphere, she allowed her eyes to close and awaited his lips.

The kiss was enchanting, beautiful really. For a moment, Fuu felt as if she were going to faint from the sudden delight, but Ferio's gentle embrace kept her from collapsing then and there. Her heart was fluttering, open and free now. They were completely oblivious to the applause and cheering that went on around the room and broke apart to find the entire dance floor empty, all the people crowding around the edges.

The music started up again, and Ferio led Fuu around the dance floor once more. Fuu sighed happily and rested her head on his shoulder.

"Aisuru, Ferio."

"Aishiteru, Fuu."

They looked deeply into each other's eyes. All was known. Nothing needed to be said. The silent vows were exchanged, and as if to seal their promises, the pair slowly came to a stop in their dance and kissed.
