So...there's no official cover (yet...I think) because I don't have Photoshop on this laptop I'm using so it's just gonna be that cover that's on right now. Hopefully I can get a new laptop that's mine.
On with the story.
"My name's Astrid Hofferson, yours?" She held out her hand for me to shake.
"Um...Hiccup." My voice cracked while introducing myself so I cleared my throat and gripped her hand, shaking it but not letting go until she does. "Hiccup, I mean."
Astrid laughed a little. "Hiccup... Well, I gotta get going, I'll see you around or something." She gave me a bright smile and released my hand and turned around, crossing the street that was full of people before it was only her in the middle of the road.
I then noticed a car that was going way too fast that it was gonna pass the red light and hit anyone in their way, so being the human I am, I quickly made my way to Astrid and pulled her out the street, having her let out a little squeal and land on her bottom on the curve while she and other bystanders watched me get hit by the speeding, red car.
That was when I felt a shredding pain in my leg from where one of the wheels crushed during the hit and a shredding pain in my body from when I hit the ground so hard my shoulder wasn't enough to keep my head up from bobbing to the ground and knock me unconscious.
All I did was meet the girl at a coffee shop and walked her to the curve, I didn't expect anything more.
Well, seems like fate will be giving me one hell of a ride for when I get back from the darkness I was swallowed in.
And, well, let's just say I may have hit my head a little too hard...
So...that's the prologue. More will be coming soon (obviously), so...yeah.
And since this was just the prologue of course it'll be short. Just introducing the two main characters and starting off the story(ahem, drama).
So yeah.
