Title Birdcage
Characters Shikamaru, Neji
AN a short ficlet written for a friend who wanted ShikaNeji.
Shikamaru never asked about his seal after the one time Neji had revealed it, many years ago. He never asked Neji to remove the covering on his forehead, never did anything more than brushing the pad of a finger, his thumb at times, index, others, or pressing his lips to the whirl of the leaf inscribed on the metal, directly above the seal.
Shikamaru never asked anything from Neji. He indicated what he wanted with gentle pressure; Neji's side, his hip, his inner thigh as he silently urged Neji to spread his legs, dropping a kiss here and there as he worked his way up the pale skin, nearly translucent.
Shikamaru never rushed. He was always slow, languid, uncaring of the ever changing world around him. Every move he made, seemingly careless and done on a sudden whim, was calculated and thought over. Every move calculated to drive Neji beyond the edge, mindless with desire, to break the ironclad control Neji held over himself.
