After Renesmee's birth and the "fight" for her:

At one of The Pack meetings Jacob walks to the front.

"Man! You reek!" Quil says clamping a hand of his nose.

"Shut up, you aren't even supposed to have lips!" Jacob replies.

"Huh?" Quil asks utterly confused.

"Well, for school we have to find out what some names mean, they said we could pick them so I decided to do The Pack."

The Pack, who were spread out along First Beach gradually get up and walk towards Jake, intrigued as to what their names might mean.

"C'mon Jake! What does Embry mean?" Embry calls, no pun intended.

"Well, I'm gonna go in order. I've got 'em all written down here!" Jake says gesturing to the piece of paper in his hands.

"Then go!" Leah says.

"Alright, alright! Well, Jacob means 'held by the heel,' whatever that means. Sam's 'to hear,' which he does the exact opposite of," Sam smirks and claps Jake over the head, "Hey! Just stating the truth! Anyway, Quil means 'without lips, dark, brown,' yeah, don't ask. Uhm, Embry, you don't have a meaning…" Embry looks hurt for a moment then bounces back.

"Then I'm making up my meaning. I mean dirt!" Everyone stares at him. "What?"

"Dirt?!" Paul asks.

"What the heck?" Jared adds.

"I dunno, it was the first thing I thought of!" Embry admitted.

"Moving on…" Jake commented, "Paul, you mean 'little one,'"Jake laughs. Paul pumps his muscles.

"I'm not little!" he protested.

"Jared, you're 'one who rules,'" Jared smiles broadly, "Yeah right," Jake laughed pushing Jared off the rock they were sitting on.

"Seth, you mean 'appointed one', ha!" Seth sticks out his tongue. "Collin, Brady? You are nothing, congratulations."

Collin and Brady shrug.

"Uhm, Leah?" Jake asks hesitantly.

"Yeah?" she mimicked his tone of voice.

"You mean 'cow, weary one,'" Everyone cracks up at this. Soon Jared and Paul are rolling in the sand laughing their heads off. Collin and Brady are about to do the same. Quil and Embry are looking at Leah for her reaction intently and even Sam can't help but smile when she screams…

"I MEAN WHAT?! I'm a COW? A COW!? A COW!!!!" she storms over to Jake and grabs the paper, ripping it to shreds in seconds. This only makes everyone laugh more.

"Now you have to redo my homework Leah!" Jake yells after her as she stalks off towards the Black house. Even Sam and Jake are laughing freely now.
