Ok, this idea is probably a bit unoriginal, the Doctor going back in time and meeting Merlin, but to be fair I thought of this idea before I knew about fanfiction, so when I first got Fanfic I kept telling myself to write this story and now I have! Oh yeah and It is David tenant and Martha- They were my favourite!

"Where are we going this time?" Martha asked excitedly

"The medieval times, around the time when King Arthur was Prince Arthur" The Doctor replied

"No way! We're gonna meet King Arthur as a Prince!" Martha said approaching the Doctor "Hang on" she said realising something "We're going to Camelot?"

"Yeah" The Doctor replied. Martha smiled as they landed the Tardis

The Doctor opened the doors to see a beautiful city filled with people carrying baskets and walking around, girls dressed in old fashioned dresses.

Then a young man with blonde hair came in to the city on a horse and another young man with dark brown hair helped him off.

"That one would be Prince Arthur" The Doctor said pointing at the blonde haired man, emphasising the word "Prince".

"Who's the other one?" Martha asked

"Probably his servant" The Doctor replied "Shall we go say hello" The Doctor said smiling "Oh yeah but we can't tell them about the whole time travel thing" The Doctor said "They had a strict rule about magic around this time, any local would think we were using magic if they knew we time travelled" He continued. Martha smiled as they walked towards the two men

"Hi" The Doctor said standing in front of Prince Arthur. Arthur looked him up and down

"You don't look local" Arthur said

"We're not from around here" The Doctor replied "It's just great to meet you" He continued

Arthur smiled "Well then as you will know I'm Arthur and this is my servant Merlin" Arthur said gesturing at Merlin standing behind him slightly to the left. Merlin waved.

Martha looked at the Doctor in surprise as if she was asking if that's the real Merlin, the magical Merlin. The Doctor nodded at Martha.

"We better be on our way" The Doctor said smiling at the two

"Oh wait what were your names" Arthur said before they could walk off

"I'm the Doctor, and she's Martha"

"Nice to meet you" Arthur replied
