(grin) Anywho...and as soon as this is done I'm gonna post the next chapter to Now or Never! (Finally!) My excuses are all on the chapter...but for those who won't read it, I have carpal tunnel syndrome. That means it hurts to type, people, so I'm sacrificing myself for your good! (And for my sanity, because if I didn't write fics, I would be insane...oh, wait, I already am insane.)
Sooo...as I said in the summary, no offense meant by this fic. I'm religious myself; this is purely for the sake of...erm...inspiration? Or something like that...

And I was in love with him, and neither of us knew it, and we were just friends.
And Foaly said, "Let there be understanding." And there was understanding.
And Foaly divided the understanding from the not understanding, and called the understanding Holly, and the not understanding Artemis (1). And I knew I was in love. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
And Foaly created an e-mail message; and the e-mail message told Artemis of my feelings. And I refused to send the message. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
And Foaly created a predicament within which I would tell Root what I felt. And I did not fall into the trap. And the evening and the morning were the third day.
And Foaly created a fight; and I became angry. And I stormed away. And Foaly didn't want to help me. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
And Foaly did not contact me. And I mourned with overeating and undersleeping (2). And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
And Foaly created an apology; and I accepted. And Foaly created a plan. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
And Foaly saw the plan that he had made.
And on the seventh day we carried out the plan. And I went to Fowl Manor; and Artemis loved me.
And Artemis kissed me. And then there was bliss.
And Foaly saw every thing (3) that he had made.
And, behold, it was very good.
1 In the original verses, it says that God called the light Day, and the darkness Night. This was what I thought of to replace that.
2 In place of sackcloth and ashes (which, in case you don't know, they used in the Bible. They wore sackcloth, a heavy, rough material, and they put ashes on their heads).
3 No complaints that 'everything' is one word, please! I know perfectly well that it is, but in my Bible it has it as two words. So. (grin)
