'Cedric, what is going on between you and Cho?' I asked – no, demanded – when I got a hold of the handsome Hufflepuff.
'Roger,' he answered, 'Nothing's going on. We're just friends.' He put a hand on my shoulder.
'You sure spend a whole lot of time with her,' I said, shaking his hand off.
'You know that's not true, Roger,' he said. For once, he actually looked hurt and I immediately felt bad.
'Okay, so maybe it's not,' I muttered, 'But still! There are rumours, Ced. People say that you're together.'
'Roger, I took her to the Yule Ball. Off course people are going to assume things like that,' he said. Then he smiled softly: 'Roger, are you jealous?'
'No,' I huffed. Cedric laughed and kissed my forehead.
'You are,' he said, 'I know you well enough to notice.' I sighed deeply.
'Okay, so maybe I am,' I admitted.
'Listen, Roger, I have to go. The final task is about to start. We'll talk about it later, okay?'
'Fine,' I said, giving in. He looked around briefly, then bent forward and pecked me on the lips.
'I love you, Roger.'
'Love you too, Ced.'
'See you after the task.'

But he never came back, did he?
And everyone keeps telling Cho how sorry they are, but nobody ever notices the pain I'm in.
Nobody ever notices me the way Cedric did.
