Alice POV

Wedding

I loved my big brother with all of my heart. That's why we chose to have him walk me down the aisle today. To my future husband, Jasper Hale.

Jasper wasn't ordinary. I knew that much. His smile was lopsided, and he always stared at people like he hated them with a passion. His golden eyes held a hint of the pain he used to have in his heart, but it always disappeared when he looked at me.

Edward sighed beside me, taking my arm. He was upset. Bella had left him for some random guy in a bar. Renesmee hated her for it, but he couldn't seem to let it go. It's been going on for months. The sadness, the loss, the hangovers… He wouldn't give it up. I felt bad that he had to endure his daughter's wedding to Jacob a week ago, and now mine, his, somewhat, second daughter.

Edward took my arm, following behind Rosalie and Leah, my last two bridesmaids. I smiled at Edward; his cowboy hat that Jasper forced the whole groom's party to wear, brought out the highlights in his bronze hair. It also made him look happy. Or was that the smile that just altered his face of depression…?

Before I could ask his reason for the sudden grin, I was handed off to Jasper. Jasper smiled at me from under his pitch black cowboy hat. I giggled as we turned to face the priest.

"Have they told you?" he whispered to me.

"Told me what?" I asked.

He grinned. "Some of the relationships in the family… Everyone's happier… Well, look behind you." He smiled at the priest as if he'd actually been paying attention. "I do."

I looked, then saw what he meant. Emmett was sitting next to Leah Clearwater and her brother, but both seemed lost. They were looking at each other, and then smiled. She blushed, leaning her forehead against his cheek. His grin widened, wrapping his arm around her shoulders.

Rosalie stood out against the crowd, also, sitting next to my younger, much closer brother. They both were looking at Jasper and I, then Rosalie looked down at her hand closest to him. They're hands intertwined secretly, and then she laid her head against his shoulder. That famous half-grin Edward hadn't worn in the month since Bella was gone, suddenly lit up his chalky-pale cheeks.

I grinned, turning back, accepting Jasper's eager kiss.

All was good again.
