Crossovers: No, Just No
The sun shone brightly as the current trio, Ash, Misty, and Brock, walked along some generic route, probably looking for the next unnamed town or something. Ash wants a badge! Yeah, that's it. Anyhow, Brock was staring uncomfortably at his map, which was clearly outdated.
"I can't believe we're lost AGAIN!" Misty whined, and suddenly, the ground began to shake, forcing Brock to drop his map. The three screamed in terror while Pikachu face-palmed and sweatdropped, dreading the imminent and insane crossover.
Suzy's Vulpix whined, knowing that the author's main purpose of this fic was probably just to give Naruto a Ninetales or Vulpix.
Just as an earthquake in the Naruto-verse began, it suddenly stopped in both worlds, being interrupted by a golden light.
The Pokemon trio looked up at the sky, and gasped to see Mew, nearly in tears. "No, please! No more Pokemon/Naruto crossovers!" Mew flew down to Ash, who was too dense to grab a Pokeball and try to catch the extremely rare legendary. "It doesn't even make sense, okay?"
Ash, Brock, and Misty were looking at each other in confusion, while Pikachu and Vulpix square-danced in happiness, knowing that they were safe from the what-the-heck worthy crossover.
That night, Pikachu nearly burst into tears at the sight of something that looked like a Houndoom, but clearly wasn't. It was a Digimon, assumed to be Dobermon. Pikachu broke into a panic as Ash began to stir. 'Pikapi, don't wake up!' Pikachu thought. 'If you do, a crossover will begin!' Pikachu could imagine the overdone scene. Ash tries to catch the Digimon, and then Digimon characters show up.
Brock began to stir, and Pikachu broke into a cold sweat… until Brock pulled a cellphone out of nowhere and started to call someone.
"Hello, Nurse Joy, did you know I had a good dream? You were in it-" Was all Brock could say before Nurse Joy could be heard clearly, although the speaker-phone was off.
"Brock, its three in the freaking morning, and you've called me at this hour FIVE TIMES THIS WEEK! I'll call Officer Jenny to have a word with you if I have to, Brock!" Nurse Joy yelled.
"Will you call Officer Jenny if I call you tomorrow?" Brock now had hearts in his eyes, when suddenly Pikachu ran over and snatched the phone away.
"Pikapi, Pikachu, pichu pika chupika!" It's Ash, he's about to enter a crossover! Nurse Joy smiled on the other line, knowing very well what she had to do. Pikachu and her had made a code long ago, in case they ever had to deal with a crossover ever again.
Right as Ash began to lift a Pokeball to throw at the misplaced Dobermon, Nurse Joy ran over with a computer, the PC. She pressed a couple buttons, and the Dobermon disappeared.
"What just happened?" Misty asked, who had suddenly awoken to the commotion.
"Crossovers, Misty. These are easiest to hide. They're Digital Monsters, so if you put them in a PC, you avoid a crossover altogether." Nurse Joy explained kindly.
"What?"
