I created my own Naruto Ending. It has several parts. It doesn't have any pairings. Also, I didn't bash anyone here. The first part is from Sakura and the forehead poke.
ENDING I
"Friends stands beside you even at the darkest days and the harshest downpour."
"Hey."
Sakura felt rather than saw the finger poking her forehead. A smile blossomed on her face. When she opened her eyes, she saw that one person she needed at a time like this. She watched as that person sat down beside her on the bench, eyes never leaving her.
Ino looked at her with her lips quirking upwards. "What's got your forehead crinkling, Forehead?"
"Nothing." Sakura breathed in the air, letting the wind blow by their figures. "It's nothing."
To her utter surprise, she felt Ino flick her forehead. "Yeah. And guess what, I'm in love with Sai." The both of them paused for a moment, digesting the sentence before cracking into gut wrenching laughter.
"T-thanks for the laugh, Pig." Sakura couldn't stop her snorts. "I-I… pfft… you and Sai… that's even crazier than me and-" And she fell silent in a swoop, her eyes going wide for a moment before looking downwards.
"Ah, so it is about Sasuke." Ino gave a sigh, slumping on the bench. "Don't tell me you're actually-"
However, before she could finish, Sakura already cut her off. "I'm not." She said, her voice firm. "I'm really, really over him. Going into war and coming out alive can really change a girl's perspective."
Ino's smile falter for a moment. The reminder of the horror they faced wasn't one she wanted to face just yet. It was a ghost she didn't want to face as of now. Maybe later, when she's strong enough to go and face her ghosts with her head held high. But that time wasn't now. And more importantly, her friend needed her now. She can't let her ghosts get in the way of that.
She reached out to give Sakura a one-armed hug. "Then what is it about?"
"I just – I thought that after everything else…" Sakura's voice falter and there was a hitch on it. "That we'd be together again – Team Seven, I mean. Me, Naruto, Kakashi-sensei and Sasuke… I thought our family will be together again. But now that he's back, he's already leaving again."
"Mhm-hm." Ino nodded.
"It just hurts." Sakura gripped the fabric of Ino's skirt. "I know it sounds selfish, but I want Team Seven back. I – after the war, I had it all thought out. I wanted Team Seven and Team Kakashi together. I wanted us to go to Ichiraku for a ramen and we'd be… we'd be Team Seven again."
Ino petted her hair, ignoring the liquid seeping on her clothes as she buried her friend's trembling form closer to her chest.
"Ah, well," She said. "All roads intercept… especially for the three of you. It's always the same. You separate, you grow, and you get back together sometime, but different bonds are formed with people that aren't from your circle."
Sakura's response to that was a choke, a sob and an incoherent sentence.
"The rain's pouring so heavily."
The sky was clear.
"It's so gray."
It was blue.
"It's going to be okay. I'm with you."
And she was.
War truly changes people.
I'm sorry if it doesn't have a clear ending. I just wanted something to do with the poke and I wanted SakuIno friendship to be shown. It's a hazy ending for Sakura, but I see her working to make everything better.
She would be finding ways to be happy - giving home to the orphans of war, alongside Ten Ten and others... I think. Hehe... It's pretty vague.
Her future is open for everyone to fill in.
