She sat in the phone booth, tears coming down her face. He was gone, forever. All because of her. She tried calling him again.
"Sorry, I can't come to the phone right now but leave a message after the beep." Says the message and Amber hangs up.
"COME ON! ANSWER!" Screamed Amber as she put down the phone.
She could remember the wonderful times she has with Lex. She remembered the day she met him. She loved him, and cared about him. I should be going home, Amber thought and she walked out.
As Amber walked down the path she could only think of one thing – Lex. He left the city, with no notice...only telling her. Amber reached her house, and walked into her bedroom and pulled out her scrapbook. Amber's sister, Sorlaris knocked on the door.
"Amber, are you okay" Shouted Sorlaris.
"No, leave me alone." Amber shouted back and she opened her scrapbook.
Amber smiled as the glitter covered her hands, as she flicked the pages. But her smile started to fade when she saw the picture of her and Lex, on the day they met. They were in year 9 then, and now 10. Lots has changed since then. Lex always was bad, Amber was always good. Then they both met, Amber's world was turned around...
Amber closed the scrapbook. It was dinner time. Amber slowly walked down the stairs and sat at the table.
"Amber...are you okay?" Asked Amber's mother, Louise.
"Yeah, I'm fine." She replied, smiling weakly.
"Mrs. Adams called, Lex is gone." Replied Amber's mother.
Amber's stomach filled with guilt. She didn't want to lie, she wanted him back...but what if he got mad at her?
