Disclaimer: I do not own Tsubasa, Kurogane, or Fai.

A/N: I've been meaning to write a KuroFai fic for sometime now, but I've never gotten around to it, until now. So, this is my first fic revolving around them… Go easy on me alright? It's kind of cliché, but enjoy it none the less c:

Warnings: Implied Shounen-ai. Not really 'Yaoi' but the context is defiantly there. So technically, KuroFai.

"Hyuu!" Fai attempted to whistle.
"Would you cut that out?!" Kurogane roared at the blonde, pointing Fai threw his arms back, stretching, "Aw is Kuro-pon getting angry?"
"You know damn well why." He raven haired male turned to look at Fai.
"You're no fun Kuro-tan."
Kurogane growled, "At least the pork bun isn't here."
"Well Mokona and the others can't be to far off if we can still understand each other." Fai cooed.
"Oh-!" Fai looked skyward, feeling a droplet of rain.
"It seem like it's going to rain." He grinned. Kurogane looked at the mage then at the sky, "Let's find someplace dry to spend the night and then continue looking for the kids in the morning." Looking to his left, Kurogane motioned Fai to follow, into what looked like a normal cave.
"Oh, Kuro-puu, if you're leading us into a cave where we're gonna get eaten, I'm never forgiving you." Fai laughed.
"Shut up made, the cave is safe. I'd sense something if it wasn't." Kurogane looked at Fai.
"My hero."
"What was that Mage?"
"Nothing Kuron-nii~"
Kurogane slid down against the side of the cavern, "Get some sleep. I'll keep watch."
Fai sat next to Kurogane, "You want me to watch after a little while?" he blinked.
"I'll be fine." Kurogane grunted.
Fai remained silent, staring at the side of Kurogane, and gave a gentle smile, "Thank you, Kuro-sama."
Kurogane crossed his arms, "Whatever."
It was only a few hours later, when Fai began to toss and turn.
Normally, the magician slept on his stomach, but this night in particular, he seemed to be all over the place.
Kurogane glanced over at the restless blonde, watching silently as Fai began muttering, a pained expressing forming on his face.
"D… Don't die… please…" Fai muttered, he furrowed his brow, tears forming at the corners of his eyes.
Kurogane turned so he could better see Fai, a look of slight concern on his face.
Fai continued to toss and turn, muttering incoherent words. Tears forming and occasionally falling down his pale ashburn cheeks.
It continued like this for almost 20, maybe 30 minutes, before Kurogane finally had enough and placed a hand on Fai's cheek, using his thumb to brush away the fallen tears.
"They're just dreams… But no one will find out that you cry… No one needs to know except you and me… Alright?" Kurogane asked to no one in particular.
"…Alright…" Fai mumbled slightly, taking his own hand to Kuroganes and gripping it slightly.
Shocked, though not entirely surprised, Kurogane gave a gentle smile, "You're helpless without me."
"…And your not?"
"tch. Shut up." Kurogane turned his head away, a faint blush forming on his cheeks.
"How long have you been away?" He dared ask.
"When you touched my face…" Fai gave a small smile.
There was an awkward silence between them, as Kurogane figured out what to say. But Fai was the first to break the silence.
"So… is it true?" Fai tilted his head.
"… Is what true?" Kurogane asked.
"That you… That you won't tell anyone?"
Kurogane gave a grunt, "Yeah." Pulling Fai's hand to his lips he planted a gentle kiss on the back of Fai's palm, "I promise."
