Snuffle's epic Fan Fiction competition.
Me: Draco, who owns Harry Potter? Draco: *smirks* Not you. (that was my disclaimer.)
A single leaf fell off of the tree, as its long branches whipped around in the breeze. The sun was beginning to set over the picturesque landscape. A young boy sat parallel to the long branched tree, a tree which all of Hogwarts knew as "the whomping willow." If you walked to close to it the branches would whip around and hit you.
The young boy, was known as Neville Longbottom. He was socially awkward, and loved his pet toad. He was petting the toad of which he called Trevor, on top of its slimly green head.
"You're a good toad aren't you?"
The frog croaked happily in reply.
Neville sighed happily.
Meanwhile in the Ravenclaw common room
"Oh, Nargles, has anyone seen my shoes?" asked Luna, she was also socially awkward.
"I bet the Nargles, stole them again." Sneered a first year.
"Oh well, then I guess I should go find those pesky Nargles and insist they give me my shoes back.
She skipped off happily towards the Black Lake, oblivious to the laughter of her classmates or the fact that the first year was now holding her shoes in his hands.
Back to Neville
"Oi, get back here." Neville shouted to Trevor who was now hopping off in the direction of the Black Lake.
He could hear Slytherins laughing at him as he chased the toad down the hill to the lake. He didn't notice but one boy conjured a rock right in his path. He tripped rolling down the hill. He noticed to late that he was heading straight for a blur that slightly resembled Luna Lovegood.
Luna (no more backs and forth's now)
She wondered along the path, oblivious to Neville, that is until he crashed into her.
"Oh, my did a Nargle trip you? She asked quizzically.
"The what?" he asked confused as he got to his feet.
She sprung up in a almost panther like fashion, "the Nargles they hid in the mistletoe."
"Uh, no, a Slytherin with a rock tripped me. They don't hid much of anywhere."
She laughed at his comment, "Well, have you seen any Nargles, a kind first year said they had my shoes."
He shook his head, "No, I'm sorry. Haven't seen any Nargles today."
"Oh, Nargles. I should really get back to searching then." She started to skip off happily, leaving behind a boy and his toad.
He mumbled under his breath, "Oh, Nargles. Did I just miss my chance?"
That's the end, "Please, review. Because, I am listening."
