A/N: Heeeeeeeey! Okay so I just want to let you know that Lafayette is going to say a few things in French, and I don't want to stick the translations right into the story, because I don't want to mess with the flow of it. So I'm putting an English-to-French dictionary at the bottom, so if you are bad at French (like me), just scroll to the bottom for the translations!

This takes place during the war. I hope you enjoy. -The Author [Me]

"No! No way.", snarled Hercules, "No way in hell!"

"Herc, mon ami, we are starving! We must eat the horses...", pleaded Lafayette, "We haven't eaten in weeks! How are we supposed to fight on an empty stomach, hmm?"

"No- don't go near my horses!", retorted Hercules, "You're French- just pick off some snails off the ground and eat them! French people like snails right? It's rainy! There are snails, help yourself!"

Lafayette scrunched up his nose in disgust, "We don't eat them raw."

"Nevertheless, I am not forfeiting my horses. We have a... certain relationship.", mumbled Hercules.

"Yes, I know you have a "special connection" with these horses, but if we don't eat we will starve! That includes you, Hercules Mulligan.", begged Lafayette, "Imagine how weak we'll be on the battlefield without food, mon Cheri."

Hercules crossed his arms, "No, Laf."

"You do not have a choice, mon Cheri, we have all taken a vote. General Washington has asked you to forfeit your horses."

"Let me put this in a language you can understand Laf.", growled Hercules, "Non!"

"Why are you so stubborn? Do you want to live? Do you want to fight for your land back?", asked Lafayette.

"This is not my land, rememeber? It is American soil we are fighting for, I do not have one American gene in my body, thank you."

"There's got to be at least ONE horse you could get rid of!", insisted Lafayette, "Just one? Think about it."

"No. I have had a special relationship with all of my horses.", said Hercules, crossing his arms.

"Ces chevaux chanceux ... ", mumbled Lafayette.

"What, Laf?", asked Hercules.

"Nothing, mon Cher, but if you want to live to see our glory... I insist you hand over your horses."

They roasted one of Hercules' horse over the fire. Herc winced. That's my horse. Look what they're doing to my horse! My favorite horse. I can't believe they're cooking Marquis de Lafayette Jr! I loved that horse so much... I'm sure the feeling was mutual. Look at them.. thier mouth watering over MY horse. This is disgusting. How am I supposed to eat him?

"You have made a wise decision, son. I'm very proud of you. I know how hard this was for you.", smiled Washington.

"Yeah yeah.", mumbled Hercules.

"Say Ahh~", teased Lafayette, attempting to shove some of Herc's horse into his best friend's mouth.

"Pass.", said Hercules, "I cannot eat my favorite horse!"

Lafayette shrugged, and took a bite of the horse, "Why is this one you're favorite?"

"…Uhhh."
