Rise Again

To be honest, I've been hanging on to this idea for a while now. Well, since the tragedy of the 10th of April. P., made a very nice drawing which you can all see here: http:/ seirona720. deviantart. com/art/April-10-2010- 160307984
After that, I wanted to do something as well.
This is not meant to be offensive and mock the Polish people in any way. I simply did this to mark the tragedy that happened to the country and to show that it touched me. Sure there are other disasters that are happening daily in the world and I am aware of these things happening.
That being said, I'll let you read it now.
Disclaimer: Where is May?
Rise Again
It has been well over ten days now since the tragedy. It amazed him how much could happen in those days, how easily the attention of the world could pass from one tragedy to the next. It seemed that everywhere there was something going on that tested their strengths.
Feliks felt as though he had been living someone else's life for the past couple of days. Everything had happened so quickly. From the news that his beloved boss had died, to the funeral and now the upcoming elections; it had truly been a whirlwind of emotions and it wasn't over yet.
Somehow or other, he had managed to keep his head held high throughout the entire ordeal. He had to, though, for his people. It might be difficult for him, but he had to think of his citizens. It was just as hard for them as it was for him.
He supposed that had it not been for some key people in his life, he would have probably crashed from all the stress that he had been through, but he had good friends that had been there for him in his time of need.
One of his close friends had told him that he would come out stronger than before once everything would settle down. Feliks had asked him why and the other man had given him one simple reason.
"You will rise again like the phoenix from the ash." Those words had stayed with him and had rung true. He would indeed come out stronger from this and rise to greater strengths.
