HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY! I'm so sorry for not updating with my other fics like Carved in Stone (that one's getting iffy now) or Prank Wars (few more chapters coming up, I'll try my best!) and yeah . . . sorry! I have a new idea, plus a lotta fics with Lex, and yeah . . . meh. My family came over, and my OTHER side is coming over tomorrow, so that doesn't help. Sorry! Oh, and this is like, sorta an AR where the Lost Hero didn't happen or something like that, I really don't know, I just really wanna USE THIS IDEA! It's probably like, after the whole Heroes of Olympus series, and stuff. And this is me, hoping they're both alive and happy. Enough of that, happy fourth of July, enjoy the show!
Fireworks were o-d-d t-h-i-n-g-s
They are destructive and dangerous
But after the B A N G, they're so beautiful in the night sky
Especially at Camp Half-Blood
The H.e.p.h.a.e.s.t.u.s c.a.b.i.n creates awesome shows every year
[even though it may get a bit boring, the same thing every year]
But this time was different
It's been almost a year since the w/a/r
And this was his first time seeing the fireworks with [A]n[n]a[b]e[t]h together
Not "together" as in, in her company . . .
"Together" as in, they're dating
He's slightly n/e/r/v/o/u/s, because this is the most romantic event of the summer
He's not very good with romance
He fumbles and is clumsy and a::w::k::w::a::r::d, because she makes him so n/e/r/v/o/u/s
{he does the same for her, but he doesn't need to know that}
And so he sat down on the blanket, trying to ignore his rapid heartbeat
(and hoping she doesn't notice)
He got bored; five years of the same show tends to do that
But he can't become entirely bored, since he's with [A]n[n]a[b]e[t]h
And so when they leaned in a little close . . .
He took a deep breath and g-u-l-p-e-d, and then . . .
Percy took the opportunity to k~i~s~s h~e~r
And soon, he saw real
