Prologue

I hopped of our car and looked back at my mother.

"You'll have fun deary."she said with a soothing voice and a confident smile. I took a deep sigh and smiled back.

"I will,mum."and with that...I waved goodbye

*ring* *ring*

"Ughhh,"i groaned then turned off the alarm clock. The alarm's buzzing was so annoying that it gave me an early morning headache.

"Lucie!" I jumped in suprise as my mom suddenly barged into my room without even knocking.

"Mom...its early in the morning."i groaned but then she took me by the shoulders then handed me a piece of paper which was already crinckled from God knows what happened to it.

"You've just been accepted."my eyes widened.

"Are you sure?!"i said while taking the paper out of her hands. I read:

To Ms. Collins,

I am glad to inform you that you have just been accepted in our Academy. We are impressed with your outstanding remarks and with your portfolio which proves you are a talented and an intelligent young lady. We are expecting you to be here by the 10th of September at 5 in the evening. Your class schedule and dorm number will be given to you once you arrived at the Secretary's office. Rules and Regulations will be discussed once all students are in the Great Hall in complete school uniform. We are looking forward upon your arrival, .

Shivers ran up and down my spine while reading the acceptance letter. I totally dont feel so good about it. I mean, I cant just leave my life here which is I'm going to miss so much. Especially my friends...Nick.

I shook the thought away about Nick which is totally inappopriate.

"Isn't it exciting?"mum asked while clapping her hands like a retarded seal. I took a deep breath and did one of my fake smiles at her.

"Yes,mum. It is."i said while giving back the paper to her.

"Tomorrow we'll go to the mall to buy you new things."she said happily. I nodded.

"Okay."i said with a happy voice tht i can muster.

"You can invite your friends tomorrow."she encouragingly. I shrug.

"I dont know. They might just murder me for going."she laughed.

"They wouldnt. Now,lets go have breakfast,shall we?"she said then she ushered me to the dining area.
