"Mind if I join you?" A voice said with a tap on my shoulder. I turned around. "Lucian!!" I said happily. "I haven't talked to or seen you in a while! What brings you here?" I asked. "Well, I like to come here and think sometimes." He replied, looking out on the water. "It's really lovely." I nodded. "Yeah, it is." As I said that, he sat down next to me. We sat there for a bit, talking about how our lives were going, until I noticed that the first star was out. I pointed to it and said, "Hey! Look! Wanna wish with me?" I held out my hand. It wouldn't really do anything for our wishes, but I kind of just wanted to hold his hand, and this seemed like a good excuse/reason.
He took it gently, and squeezed it a bit while we closed our eyes to make our wishes. After we opened our eyes, I turned to him and asked, "Wanna hear my wish? I think we wished the same thing." "Won't that make our wishes not come true? Also, I didn't wish about Oliver, so I'm not sure we wished the same thing." He answered. I laughed. "I didn't wish about Ollie. … This time. And I'll make sure this wish comes true. I hope you'll help." "Well, then, I'd like to hear your wish." He looked at me, waiting. "I wished that you and Cale would get back together." I told him with a smile. He looked down and paused. He looked back up at me and said quietly, "Me too." He smiled softly. I leaned on him and he wrapped his arm around my shoulders. "I really hope you guys fix things." I said gently, nuzzling his shoulder. "Me too." He repeated, sounding distant. I looked up at him, and I saw him looking out again, seeming deep in thought. "You miss him, don't you?" I asked. He nodded, and we sat there, thinking and wishing, waiting for things to get better.
