A/N: I know I should be posting a chapter for something else (i.e. Sick Day), but this bugger came to me yesterday and I needed to get it down. Totally speculative and meant to be ambiguous. Let me know what you think please. Reviews are brownie points!

Jay's not exactly sure when he wakes up. He just knows that he could have sworn he died. In fact, the last thing he can remember is Zoom's hand in his chest. So why was he alive? How was he alive?
"Garrick."
Jay turns sharply at the sound of the gravely dark voice, his heart racing as his eyes not only spot Zoom, but the fact that he has been locked up in a cell. Something in him snaps and all he can feel is sheer terror. He's Zoom's prisoner. He's a prisoner of Zoom. Death would have been a more welcome fate.
"Jay Garrick. The Flash. The most unassuming of men gifted with powers that are not worthy of him."
Jay knows the monster is goading him. He knows he shouldn't respond. But he does anyway. "More worthy than you."
In the blink of an eye, Zoom is in the cage and he has Jay pinned to the wall by the throat. Maybe if he was lucky, Zoom would lose control and kill him. It would be a small mercy. But Zoom was anything but merciful.
"Says the man who is my prisoner."
The emphasis on the possessive pronoun sends a chill through Jay's veins, his heart rate spiking. He shouldn't be here. He should have been more careful. "What do you want from me?"
"I want to hear you scream." Zoom tightened his grip on Jay's throat. "I want to make you suffer." Zoom's face looms closer and any breath Jay has vanishes as his fear overwhelms him. "Your life. Is mine."
Jay's world fades into darkness at these words, the land of the unconscious all too welcome right now. He wishes he wouldn't have to wake up again. He wishes he would just die.
Because the next time he opens his eyes, he knows. Zoom would still be there. And he will still be Zoom's.
