A "perfect" drabble I thought up last night after watching a bunch of episodes of Full Metal Panic, I love the way Sosuke talks and examines everything in a militaristic manner. I was going to wait to write this, but I just joined fullmetalpanicclub on DeviantArt and they have a contest going for Souske and Kaname's first date, wedding or any other cute, romantic moment so this doubles as my entry for that.
I opted to go with a "perfect" drabble (meaning it has exactly 100 words) because I've been reading a lot by forthright lately and she writes short, but amazing chapters so I thought I'd give it a try. It's a lot harder than you'd think lol ^^"
The question was simple. Concise and to the point, requiring no explanation or elaboration. He wasn't under torture or interrogation and despite all the witnesses he wasn't worried as the information requested wasn't classified.
With a curt nod Sousuke Sagara replied, "Affirmative." To his right he heard Sergent Weber stiffle a laugh and moments later felt the sharp jab of Kaname's elbow into his left side. He winced and glanced towards her, it took him a moment, but he recalled that they had practiced the appropriate answer the night prior. Clearing his throat, he tried again, "I - I do."
Hope you liked my little attempt at a new writing style, I may continue with it for some stories.
