I re-did this for .SP because I scared him/her/preferred-gender/i-do-not-want-to-offend-a-reader and made it more of a fun scavenger hunt thing for a stable couple of Kenny and Butters.

Takes place on their anniversary if you cannot tell.

Kenny placed the final note then began walking to his car to wait. He was interrupted by Stan who congratulated him on making it to his first stable, year long, relationship. Kenny blushed and said thank you then shooed Stan away.

Kenny sat in his car and played on his phone, glad for his well-paying mechanic job supporting him.

When Butter's arrived at their shared apartment he began putting away the grocries, discovering a note on the fridge, it said, "Follow these riddles and you will be shocked. Though you will not be blocked, others may get in your way, however they cannot stay, for when you find the end, you will not need to pretend, a dream will await."

Butters giggled and inspected the back of the note where the actual riddle was. "What loses a head in the morning, but gets it back at night?" Butters puzzled on this for a minute, then smiled and laughed. "A pillow. He must have left another note on the bed." Butters rushed putting the rest of the groceries away, made sure he had cash and his phone, unsure of where he would need to go on this hunt for a 'surprise', then rushed to the bedroom.

Once Butter's was there he discovered a note on the bed along with a corsage rose. He mumbled an aw as he smelled the flower. He sighed, it smelled like Kenny's best cologne. He must have scented it special. Butters smiled, then put in on. After he had adjusted the flower in the mirror, Butters quickly read the note.

"I have memories, but none of my own, whatever's on my inside is what is shown. If I'm ever different it's because you changed me, I feel like a decoration, here for you to arrange me. What am I?" Butters sat on the bed, thinking it through, then realized it was obvious. "The picture frame Kenny got me for my birthday!" Butters lept up, placing the note on their dresser and rushed to the living room. He looked over at his bookshelf. On the second shelf from the top rested the picture frame.

Inside the frame was a picture of himself and Kenny back in fourth grade when Kenny came to the hospital to apologize for accidentally hitting him with the throwing star. Butter smiled, he loved that memory. It was when he and Kenny got close. Next to the frame was the next riddle.

"Which building has the most stories?" Butters did not need to think hard on this one, he and Kenny went there all the time, "The Library!" Kenny and Butters went there nearly every week both loving the thrill of the novels and the surprising amount of DvDs. Butter's rushed out the door and into South Park, they went to Denver for school, but South park had cheaper apartments. Butters ran to his car but decided against it. He could take a cab if he needed transport. He ran to the library as quick as he could and found a new note outside the door.

"A villain with too many fingers in his glove is defeated by those who share 'twoo wuv'". Butters smiled instantly recognized the classic tale that he and Kenny had read together last month. "The Princess Bride, how inconceivable!" Butters laughed and rushed inside the library finding the book on the shelf. He took it down and found the next riddle.

"By another name still sweet smells the rose. Will this couple keep their families from blows?" This one was a bit harder, but Butters recognized it through their shared English Class back in high school. "Romeo and Juliet." Butters giggled going over to the book and found the next note, beginning how long he would spend in the library.

"Tadpoles and larvae and other things spawned will grow up and play here; It's a nice, cool..." Butters thought for a second and realized Kenny must mean Stark's Pond. Butters smiled, thinking back to all the good memories of childhood that took place there. "To the starks it is." Butters began to exit the library, but was interrupted by the part-time employee, a Mr. Kyle Brofloski.

"Hey Butters, Kenny got through here a bit ago, I thought you two always came together?" Butters laughed and explained the scavenger hunt, and Kyle laughed to, wishing him luck. "See you later Butters." Butters waved goodbye then raced to the lake. At the lake, Butters found the new note on the sign.

"We spent a lot of time in this room, back in school. Remember all those rules? Totally not cool. Though this portion is a home for an apple, questions and answers. Legs of four support the head of the class. What is this?" Butters giggled and thought, sitting on the bench near the sign. Noticing an apple tree it came to Butters. "A teacher's desk. He must mean Mr. Garrison's classroom!" Butters giggled and ran to the elementary school.

The school was still open, due to a PTA meeting, run by Shelia, whom was obsessing over Ike's tendency to disobey his religion, causing her to think he was a satanist. This was beginning to piss off the actual Satan and his son in hell, making Pip have to calm them down. Though Butters had no way of knowing this. Butters just ran through the doors, eventually to the classroom and found the note on the desk.

"To solve this little fix. Liquids, solids, gases mix. Head to the place of some reaction. To further this puzzle transaction." Butters thought for a moment, then realized it was about Kenny's favorite subject, Science. He always loved Biology. Butters headed to the Science Lab. There he found a new note on a bunson burner with matches next to it along with a few chemicals. "I breathe oxygen, but I do not have a mouth. I can brighten up dark times, but used wrongly I can terribly ruin good times. I move around a lot, but I do not have a body. Who am I?". Butters knew immediately. "A fire." Butters smiled and lit the gas.

After he read the labels of the chemicals he knew what he needed to add, but not the affect. Damien down in hell, being a creature of fire, sensed the fire that was occurring in the building he was currently despising. Meditatively he let his soul leave his body to investigate. He noticed and read the notes and knew what happening. The fire was going to turn into Butter's favorite color, but Damien knew how he could spice it up. Once Butter's had the color Damien used his powers to make it turn into a heart. It made his day to see Butter's smile. The hole in the heart pointed to the next note as well, so it could just be considered Kenny's plan. Once pip noticed the note Damien stopped his magic and returned to hell and Pip. Butter's turned off the flames and picked up the new note.

"This is the finale. I cannot think up more, I'm sorry I'm such a bore. I love you to no end, so please come back to the place where you first made yourself my boyfriend." Butters had to think about this one, he knew Kenny probably meant their first date, but it could also mean when they agreed to be official. He thought for a few minutes, debating between going to the movie theater in South Park or his parent's house. He decided to try the second first because he hadn't seen his parents in a while anyway. He made his way over there, making an oversight of the car parked in the street nearby. He knocked on the door, and to his surprise he was answered with a kiss.

Kenny took the air out of his lungs and Butters was slept off his feet. Kenny wished him a happy anniversary and they shared a romantic meal, going home right after to share their couch and just cuddle.

I need to find something to do with my time...probably should be doing school work.
