Please review and leave feedback as I would love to know what you all think and it will motivate me to write more! :) Hope you enjoy! :D

Chapter 1

"Rory! Rory! Rory!" Lorelai said as she jumped onto her daughter's bed at about 7 in the morning.

"Mmmmm...what?" Rory groaned trying to hide under the duvet.

"I'm getting married today!" Lorelai grinned. Rory did smile at did and slowly emerged from under the duvet.

"I know mum. You excited?" She said.

Lorelai grinned. "I'm marrying the best man I know. I can't be happier." She smiled.

Rory smiled back. "Neither can I."

It was now 1 o'clock and Luke was standing at the altar with Jess, who was his best man. Ten minutes later they were all told to stand and Luke looked back to see Rory walking down the aisle in her bridesmaid dress. She smiled at him and he smiled back and then she went and sat next to her grandma. Suddenly, the music started and Lorelai was walking down the aisle with Richard. She was beaming as she saw Luke at the end and he was beaming back. They reached the front and Richard gave Lorelai a quick kiss before going to join Rory and Emily.

The wedding began and there was hardly a dry eye in the house when the reverend said those words, "I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride."

They had a marquee set up in the square for the reception. Everyone sat down for the dinner and soon it was time for speeches. Richard stood up first. "Hi, I'm Richard Gilmore and I'm the father of the beautiful bride. I'm the first to admit me and my wife's relationship with our daughter hasn't been the easiest over the years but I hope we have come through all the drama. We have a beautiful daughter, amazing granddaughter and now a son-in-law. I admit when Luke and Lorelai started dating we weren't best pleased but over the last couple of years we have come to see what a truly lovely man Luke Danes really is. For one, he loves our daughter so much and I know he will care and protect her for the rest of their lives." He said looking over at them. Luke smiled and nodded and squeezed Lorelai's hand. "Not only that, but we haven't missed just how much he cares for our granddaughter as well. Lorelai has told us numerous stories about when Luke has been there for Rory and we can't thank him enough. Thank you, Luke, for loving them so much and on behalf of me and Emily, we wish you every happiness in the world." He smiled and toasted them and then sat down. Lorelai smiled at him and mouthed "thank you."

It was Jess' turn next. "I'll keep this short. Uncle Luke, thank you for taking me in when you didn't need to and caring and not giving up when you could have done easily. I have become a better person because of you and I know I'm not the sort of guy who shows emotion but I love you Uncle Luke and thanks." He said. "Lorelai, ever since I arrived here I knew Luke liked you. And I knew you would end up together. Thank you for making him so happy and I wish you both the best in the future." He said and then sat down. Lorelai and Luke were touched by his speech.

Last was Rory. She took a slow deep breath and stood up. She had to get through this without crying. "Mom, what can I say about you? You are the best mom I could have ever asked you. You have always been there for me even when times were hard. You were not just my mom but my best friend as." She said, taking a pause. "You sacrificed so much for me. I love you so so much and I am just so happy you have found happiness and an amazing man to spend your life with." She said taking another breath and looked at Lorelai who had tears falling down her cheeks.

She then turned to Luke. "Luke, I've known you since the day we arrived in Stars Hollow and my crazy mom pestered you for coffee every minute of the day." She continued, gaining a laugh for this comment. "Along with mom, you have been there for me whenever I needed you and you are the father that I should have had but didn't. You are honestly the loveliest man I have ever met and I'm so excited you are officially part of our family now. I know that technically you are my stepdad but, to me, you have always been and always will be my dad. I love you, Luke." She smiled, looking up at him but felt her eyes well up with tears. "I know you will always be there for me and mom and I can't thank you enough. So everyone please raise their glasses to mom and Luke." She said raising her glass. Everyone toasted them and Rory sat back down next to Lorelai.

Lorelai turned to her with tears in her eyes. "That was lovely, kid. Thank you." She smiled and hugged her. "You even made the tough man cry!" She then smirked. Rory laughed and looked over to Luke.

"I'm not crying...just got something in my eye." Luke said. "But...t..thanks Rory. For everything you said." He said touched at her speech. Rorry smiled and went over and hugged him.

"I meant every word." She smiled.

The dinner soon ended and then it was time for the dancing. Luke and Lorelai were called to the floor for their first dance and Rory watched, hapy, taking a couple of photos. Everyone else was then called to join them on the floor. Rory looked around and saw lots of couples make their way to the dance floor including her grandparents, Jess and his girlfriend, Liz and TJ, and many more. She just sat down in a set near her at a table and watched everyone. Luke noticed her sat by herself.

"Go find someone to dance with..." Luke whispered to Lorelai. Lorelai looked confused but then followed his gaze to Rory and she smiled. 'He never stopped caring about her.' She thought to herself.

"Ok." She replied and went off and danced with Sookie and Jackson.

Luke went over to Rory. "Fancy a dance with your new stepdad?" He smiled looking down at her. Rory looked up from her camera and smiled.

"Of course." She smiled and got up. They went onto the dance floor and started dancing. A slow dance came on so they started slowly waltzing. Rory leant her head on Luke's shoulder as they danced. Everyone who was dancing were smiling as they watched them, including Lorelai and Emily and Richard.

"Luke?" Rory said quietly.

"Yeh kiddo?" He replied.

"Thanks for making our lives complete." She said quietly.

Hope you enjoyed that! I'm not your typical writer so please review and let me know what you think! :) Thanks! :)
