Free of Doubt

I decided to put a bit of a story to this poem. Basically, it retells Matthew 14:25-31. I don't know if its going to be any good or not, so please be nice when reviewing it.

Free of Doubt

(Matthew 14:25-31)

Across water we go
And as he walks upon it
We are with fear
He tells us to not be afraid
So fear leaves us
And I ask him
To allow me to walk with him
So when I out my feet on the waves
Fear came to me
Sinking into the water I began
But he bought his hand out
So that he could save me
So that I would have no doubt
So that I could believe in him
