Not talking killed her. Not being able to talk to him was torture. And now, knowing that he had been doing the same?
Spencer felt like she was letting out a breath she didn't realize she had been holding for months. Mona was A, Toby was here, and she felt safe for the first time in forever.

"I missed you, Spencer," he says softly, before he kisses her. It's not like the first kiss, but it feels important, like it's a promise. "I hated it," he whispers. "But I've never loved you more than I do right now."
Spencer responds by pressing her lips against his harder, iloveyou, iloveyou.
(For a second, she forgets about blackmail and Melissa and Jason and Mona and the last two years. For a moment, nothing had happened at all.)
