Matako was watching the clock tick by at the hospital, hoping for the doctor to come soon. She could see the scene in her mind. The broken glass, the blood flowing from under the object.
The emergency room open, and the doctor exited the room. His eyes flickered around the room until they found Matako. He let out a slight whine, as she walked over to him.
"How is Takasugi-sama?" she asked, her voice trembling.
"I'm sorry, Miss. But the man…"
"Please tell me Takasugi-sama didn't die by pulling that yakult vending machine machine onto himself."
The doctor looked away.
