Don't Leave Me
Brooklyn Penelope Davis was 6 years old when she realized her parents didn't love her. All she had to take care of her was her Nanny Kate and her next door neighbor/ best friend, Nathan Scott.
"Mommy how come Nathan's mommy and daddy take care of him and are home a lot, but you and daddy don't?" a 6 year old Brooke asked her mom. "Because, Brooklyn your father and I are too busy, thats why you have a nanny" said Victoria Davis in a snotty way."Okay, I'm gonna go play. I love you mommy" Brooke said looking up at her mother with a big smile on her face. "Yeah, don't get dirty we have people coming over" she said and walked away.
Brooke ran next door and tripped, she got her hands, knees, and dress all dirty, but she got up and walked the rest of the way cying. Nathan was playing basketball when she walked up."Hey Brookie" he said without looking her way. Brooke was looking at the ground and mumbled a "hi" quietly.
"Brooke whats wrong?" Nathan asked her dropping the basketball concerned. It was amazing how he cared so much at the young age of 7. "They don't love me" she said sobbing " Who doesn't love you?" he asked confused. "My mommy and daddy, I said I love you mommy and she.. she t.. told me not to to get dirty" Brooke said crying harder. "It's okay Brooke, I love you enough for the both of them, I'll always take care of you, your my best friend and you always will be" Nathan said hugging her. "Promise?" she said quietly "pinky promise" Nathan said.
"Brooklyn Penelope Davis get your ass in here now!" her father yelled. "Bye Nathan, see you tomorrow" "Bye Brooke" she ran back next door. "Brooke what the hell is this? I thought your mother told you not to get dirty" he yelled. "I'm sorry daddy I tripped" she said quietly starting to cry.
" Go up to your room and clean your self up then you better come back down here and be a good little girl for my friends, and as soon as they leave you will go up to bed without dinner, do you hear me?" he said rudely. "But I didn't do anything" she said crying. "Don't talk back to me!" he yelled and pushed her into the wall, then he grabbed her arm really tight and pulled her over, he left a hand mark on her arm and punched her in the stomach twice. "Now go!!" he yelled and walked away.
I know its short. I just wanted to try it out and see what you think.
