Allghoi khorkhoi (Curse of the Wendigo,Chapters 18-19)

Also known as the Mongolian Death Worm, the Allghoi khorkhoi are hermaphroditic sand worms native to the Gobi Desert. They can grow up to five feet and approximately half a foot in diameter. Often told all specimens are red, though not confirmed. Though very rare (and valuable at that), these creatures can kill thousands by using their hallucinogen-inducing venom (a narcotic). There is also a possibility that adults can spit this venom and kill or corrode whatever it touches, or to kill from great distances by use of electric currents. These possibilities are still under question.

The side effects of the allghoi khorkhoi's venom are as follows; hallucinating, paranoia, delusional thinking, burning while urination (circulation loss in sensitive individuals, causing gang green in the appendage), hair loss, swollen testicles, spontaneous hemorrhagic bleeding of the orifices (anus in particular), kidney failure, and lungs filling with fluid.

These worms always burrow in the sand, and it is said they only come up when the ground is wet. It's internal anatomy resembles that of a common earthworm.

Specimen is in Monstrumarium, Catalog number 23-54-5674
