A giggle and pair of mischievous golden eyes locked with each other, just the two of them mattered right now. As it had always been, as it would always be. No intruders, no preppy girls, no one to make them pay attention to something that wasn't this. This moment.

"Hikaru…"

A thug of clothes. A knowing pair of hands that had already traced every corner of that body he adored. A mirror image, they were; still, each time they found a way to discover new sensations, new places. Something to render the other speechless, or brainless, or anything-less.

"Kaoru."

A shy smile. Completely different from the way he acted in front of them. Because it was all theater, just to make them happy… and win some money; not as if they actually needed money. Another smile, this one more confident, equal to the other. The same lips, the same quirk of the eye. The same everything. They were one piece of the same puzzle.

"H-Hikaru…"

A breathy sound. They couldn't make noise. It wasn't the place, never the place. But the necessity had been too great to ignore. He had looked the perfect way, but not at the perfect time. Never at the perfect. This wasn't right. They weren't meant to behave this way.

"…Kaoru."

But then again… Was there any other person they'd rather be with? No. They were meant for each other. They had always been together. Always there. Whenever something was right, whenever it was wrong, whenever they couldn't trust anyone else to do a better job at making them feel better. They were each other's anchor at the times when it seemed nothing was ever going to be ok.

"I love you."

Three words. It was all it took to take them to the highest peak. They never got tired of hearing it, never grew tired of uttering it. It was the truth. The pure, sinful truth. They shouldn't feel this way. Then again, how else where they supposed to feel but this way? It was perfect. It wasn't right, but it was perfect. Neither could imagine any other reality that wasn't this one, this one they were living right now.

A mirror pair of eyes stared into each other in complete adoration. This was their time. Not anyone else's. Mirror lips grazed each other. They couldn't think of any other way to be, anyone else they'd rather be with. Someone who didn't condemn them to hell and beyond, because this was wrong.

But then again, nothing can ever be perfect. Except this thing they had, this love that shouldn't be. They were two of a kind, two. One and one, meant for the other. No one else could take up the place of the other. They were born together, they were raised together, and they would die together.

... It didn't matter how many sins they'd commit on the way.

"I'll always love you…"

"…I know."
