This is my first fan fic. I hope it was okay.

It was a quiet evening at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It was winter break and the Marauders had decided to stay on campus. Three out of the four were sitting in the Gryffindor common room. James was describing a 'brilliant' prank that he had come up with, Peter was listening, completely enthralled by the details, and Remus was reading.
"Moony! Moony guess what," Sirius exclaimed excitedly rushing into the common room.
"Merlin, Padfoot! What could possibly be so important," Remus asked, glancing up from his book.
"I got you a present," the dog animagius whined, feigning hurt. "But I guess if you don't even want to know what it then I guess I'll give it to some girl or something."
"Fine," Remus said. "What is it?"
Sirius jumped onto the couch and pulled Remus closer. "Oh you'll love it, Rem! I snuck out to Hogsmeade and picked it out special." And with that he pulled out a small black velvet box with a gold ribbon on it. "Open it!"
"Yeah! Open it Remus" Prongs encouraged. "I wanna know what's inside!"
"Me too, Moony," Peter agreed.
"Okay, okay. I'll open it," the werewolf said with an exasperated sigh.
"Yay," came a chorus from his fellow Marauders. Remus rolled his eyes and grinned as he accepted the box from his boyfriend. He carefully removed the lid and looked in. His eyes widened and his jaw dropped. Inside was a ring. A most amazing of rings. It might very well have been the best ring ever crafted. The ring its self was made of dark chocolate, the 'jewel' was a sphere of caramel and milk chocolate and was held on by white chocolate clasps, it even had white chocolate decorations.
"Wow," was all Remus could hope to say.
"Do you like it," Sirius asked pointlessly. "It's your early Christmas present. Go ahead and put it on."
"Wow," Remus repeated. "Are you serious?"
"Of course," was the dog's reply "I'm always Sirius!"
