"Minerva!" Hermione shot up from her large four poster bed. The sheets were rumpled, sweat trickled slowly down her forehead and there was a wet patch in the middle of the bed. Hermione smiled widely as she remembered her dream. She knew first hand how Minerva's lips felt against her own. What her silky skin was like pressed against her body. And the emotions that her professor ignited inside her were amazing. She only wished that she was in the arms of her lover. She looked at the clock on her bedside table.
"4am, I could risk it." She whispered to herself.
Hermione stood quickly, threw her silk green bathrobe on and headed through the secret door in her Head Girl chambers that led directly to Minerva's private quarters. She knew Minerva was an early riser, but it was still too early. Even for the strict transfiguration professor to be up.
Knowing that Minerva would still be in bed, Hermione crept into the bedroom, draping her bathrobe over the back of the chair that sat in front of the writing desk and silently slid between the sheets, snuggling close to her love.
Minerva moved slightly, holding Hermione protectively to her. Minerva was used to Hermione slipping into bed with her. Often it was because she couldn't sleep. Minerva had the same problem; she struggled to sleep without Hermione in her arms.
In the morning, Minerva awoke to find Hermione fast asleep in her arms.
'She's so peaceful.' Minerva thought to herself while she watched her beautiful lover.
"Morning, tabby." Hermione's voice was thick with sleep.
"Good morning, baby." Minerva smiled sweetly down at Hermione.
"Min?"
"Hmm?"
"Have I ever told you I sleep better in your arms?"
"No, I don't believe you have."
Hermione snuggled closer to Minerva and whispered, "I wish I could spend every night in your arms."
Minerva tightened her hold on Hermione slightly and replied, "So do I."
