It's one of those usual nights when the blond Heartfilia heiress sat on the balcony, blankly staring on their vast vineyard ready for harvest.
It's one of those usual nights when her mind wanders to destinations miles away from that villa of hers.
It's one of those usual nights when she couldn't stop herself from sobbing.
It's one of those usual nights when the memories of those hopeless fantasies came haunting her, confronting her with the thought that it will never come true.
It's one of those usual nights when she misses her small yet filled with love apartment, where the "Strongest Team" usually hangs out whenever they don't have missions to accomplish.
It's one of those usual nights when thoughts of a happy and contented life in the Fairytail guild tugs unto her mind.

"Lucy!"

It's one of those usual nights when she slips her hand on her pocket just to find out her Celestial keys were left at the guild.
It's one of those usual nights when she smiles absently with the images of Aquarius quarelling with her, Taurus worshipping her body, and Plu dancing with Happy with their annoying dance steps.

"Lucy~"

It's one of those usual nights when she hears Erza's ever commanding voice, followed by the sound of her requipping armor.

"Lucy~"

It's one of those usual nights when she feels so warm that she wanted to take her shirt off, then she insanely smiles as she remembers Grey's unconscious stripping.

"Lucy~"
It's one of those usual nights when she sees a blue winged cat, only to recognize it as mere hallucination.

"Lucy~"
It's one of those nights when she hears Natsu's excited voice, as if he'd just ate a whole village of fire. Then she would smile, remembering how he fought for her, how he defended her from those guilds that her father contracted to get her, and... how he made her special by smiling at her, as if he was not affected by those deadly combats only to make money for the team, to trespass on her unit, and to bring chaos to her dull and boring life.

It's one of those usual nights when-

"Lucy-chan!"

when she hears the whole fairytail guild members calling her name, as if they were just downstairs.

"Lucy-chan!"

There. She cried. She couldn't hold it any longer. She misses them so much to the extent of insanity.
Then there's an awkward silence, followed by footsteps, familiar footsteps of her father's shoes. She sighed. Time to sleep.

She wiped the tears, turned around and met her father's gaze.

Then her eyes widen, as a lighted cake moved from behind her father. He stood still as if he was glued on such position to watch everything that will follow.

"Happy Birthday to you, you belong to the zoo, with the monkey and the donkey and the big kangaroo!"

One by one, members of the Fairytail guild showed up, till she was surrounded by all of them as the same time the cake reached the place where she was standing.

"Ho! I never thought this was this heavy to push!" Makarov exclaimed as he moved from behind the cake.

Her tears were now uncontrollable.
"Aherm. I know this is mean, but can you blow the candle now Lucy?" asked Mirajane. The blond looked at her and the S-class mage scratched her head. "You see, Natsu's dying to eat the fire on the candle, and... we barely have two minutes to bring you with us to our guild before your dad's guards will send reinforcements.

"They're here!" shouted Grey.

.

And there, feeling Natsu's arms around her waist as he carried and jumped from the balcony, she blew her candles.
