Places 'bout two days after Kagome's return :)
It was quite impossible still believed, but the vision of twins playing near the river with Shippo, Miroku next to them watching proudly and Sango grinning to her son, showed to Kagome that it was true. She was home.
While she sat there on the grass, knitting, she suddenly remembered one movie that she saw when she was just a little girl.
She began humming.

Her gaze moved to Inuyasha. He was in the river, twins and Shippo throwing water on him.

Kagome smiled lovingly while she watched her hanyo when he acted angry, splashing in water.
Now I know it's true

She remembered all the three, sad years without Inuyasha. And remembered when she was in trap inside of Shikon no Tama, how scared she truly was but too how much fate she had in Inuyasha. And like always he didn't disappointed her.

Her hanyo, there playing with children, his hair shining under the sun, glistening water drops on his face, eyes full of life.
