O'Neil on O'Neil
The first time I asked my dad what the people were doing with the boat he didn't know what they were doing."Erm ..its O'Neil water-sport's daughter is having pictures taken."After asking a couple more water-skiers I finally got my answer. O'Neil water-skis' daughter had started a fashion line of fashionable safety and useful wet suits, dry suits and life-jackets. She was using the lake for pictures - our lake.
To say the least it was funny. O'Neil on O'Neil Hwy a little play on words if you will. As everybody had sit and wait for her to finish we got bored. Bored athletic people watching a girl photo shoot is never a good idea, ever. It was a sunny day and the water was pretty clear. The smell of sage kept making my nose itch. So after she was done and back on the dock we decided to play with her, asking her random questions but trying to stay polite. It was hard but after a while we got her to sign away her soul and her money for a membership.
I still have no clue if the line ever came out or she ever mentioned the lake, but I do know that we were bored. Boredom is never a good thing in this day and age. It's like an elephant in a room, you see it but don't want to mention it for your own sanity. Afraid that you're going insane and it's not really there. That's the problem with people afraid to notice what's really there.
That is why when you go to O'Neil water sports shops these days you should see us on the lake, making funny faces on the tags. That is what happens when water skiers are not allowed on the lake.
