As the last bell finally rang one Friday afternoon, everyone in the class darted from the room, trying to get as far away from school as possible. All except me. I had no where to go and nothing to do after school so I took my time. Plus I didn't mind getting to stare at Mr. Fitz, my hot ass English teacher, when no one else was around. As I finally turned to leave, I heard him calling my name. I turned around to see him standing up behind his desk. "Hey Aria, I just wanted to ask you something. You got a minute?", he asked. "Um yeah sure," I replied, checking the time on my phone for good measure even though I knew I had all the time in the world. I walked in and sat in the chair next to him.

"So I talked to your mom at conferences yesterday, and she told me a few things."

"Oh God I'm so sorry for whatever she said. She's kind of insane. Don't listen to anything she told you," I begged, putting my head in my hands.

"No no don't worry it wasn't anything bad," he said with a chuckle. "She told me that you like this class a lot, which I did not know. And she also told me that you like me which I was equally surprised in finding out."

"Um well yeah I uh I guess. Sure," I rambled, not wanting to tell him that I really did love his class, and him for that matter. He seemed to find my rambling amusing, as he gave me one of his perfect smiles.

"C'mon just tell me. You love me don't you? Ha. I knew it," he said laughing as he teased me mercilessly.

"No, no I uh, I just…" I mumbled, blushing so badly I probably looked like I burned my face on a fire.

"Haha, calm down! I'm just kidding," he reassured me. "Unless you do actually love me," he said, giving me one of his sexy smiles. I glared at him until I couldn't keep a straight face any longer, and I ended up laughing with him. "I'm so sorry to break it to you, but alas, I do not love you," I told him, chuckling. "Although I probably would if I got to know you," I mumbled quietly under my breath.

"I'm sorry, what was that you just said? You could love me if you knew me?"

"What? No I uh, I just said that someone probably already does, knowing you,"

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Well I mean, look at you. You're young, good looking, and unbelievably nice. You've basically got it all," I said. It took a few seconds of him staring at me before I finally realized what I had just said to him. "Oh Jesus. I uh I didn't mean to say that. I uh, I have to go," I said to him before I turned and basically ran out of the class. But before I had taken more than one step out of his room, I felt his hand on my shoulder. I stood, frozen, not knowing what to do.

"Aria?", He said quietly. I slowly turned around and looked at him. He didn't look upset or scared or weirded out like I thought he would. He just looked confused.

"Yeah?", I said, forcing myself to look him in the eye.

"Do you love me?"

Those four words hit me like a punch in the face. I didn't know what to do. Didn't know what to say. Did I love him?

"Yeah. I do… I'm sorry,"

"Why are you apologizing?"

"Because I know I'm putting you in an awkward position, saying that to you," I said staring at the floor.

He put his hand under my chin, bringing my head up and making me look him in the eyes. All of a sudden, his lips were on mine.
