Down at an old church, there was a kid...

He was a young green zafara. His clothes were ratty, his hair reached to his shoulders. He didn't wear any shoes nor socks. This zafara's name was Ryvender, Ry for short.

Now, Ryvender lived in an old church. It was quiet and peaceful. His days were often lonely and calm. He spends his days reading books, and singing hymns. Though he had little food, before every meal, he'd pray. He wouldn't pray for a family, wealth, or a better home. He'd only pray for the health of his dear friend. Ry's friend's name was Soria. She was a green zafara and she was an orphean just like him. She lived in an orphanarium, Ry would always visit her. Though she was mainly busy doing chores around the house. Now, Ryvender was a sneaky kid. He's sneak into the orphanarium and say hi to Soria. Every now and then, they'd sneak out the house and just hang out. They would mainly go to the church.

"So Soria, if there to much work. Why do you stay in that or-pan-e-num?" Ry asked as he tried to pernounce the word orphanarium.

Soria simply giggled and said. "Well first its pernounced or-fan-air-e-um."

"Oh yeah, thats right." Ry laughed.

"Anyway, if I left the orphanarium and lived in a church like you. I won't be adopted." Soria said with a confidant smile.

Ry sat next to Soria and said with a smile "Don't worry Soria, some day you'll be adopted."

"Thanks, I hope so too." Soria replied.

After a moment of silence. Ry knelt on the ground and started to pray. Soria smiled and joined Ry in a prayer.

Once Ry was done praying. He turned to Soria and smiled. "Would you like sing a hymn with me?" He asked.

"Sure! What did you have in plan?" Soria asked.

Ry stood up to his feet. He took a deep breath and sang. "Holodna hmoora. Eemruchnoh v'doosheh. Kak mohg znat ya shtoh tee oomriosh"
Soria cocked her head and asked. "What did you say"
"Cold hard empty, Light that has left me, How could I know that you would die?" Ry replied with a smile.
"I dunno...I sounds like depressing..." Soria said.
"Oh, it get better." Ry assured.
Soria nodded and smiled. She stood up hymnal. As she was walking on the old floor of the church. She accidently tripped over a loose piece of wood. In a split second. Ry ran to Soria and helped her up. "Are you okay Soria?" He asked.
"Yeah I'm fine." Soria smiled.
Now, Ry really cared about Soria. Even in the littlest of harms. Even if she fell on her behind. Ry would always ask "Are you okay?" and Soria would always answer "Yeah I'm fine." But when something really bad happened to Soria, say that she was crying. Ry would try his hardest to cheer up Soria. Sometimes, he'd cry along her side. He didn't like to see his only friend sad. Even if they were tears of joy, Ry would still be worried.
After Soria was back on her feet. Ry handed her the hymnal she was going to get. And for the rest of the day, they sang happily without a worry.
