Jay & Abi- Need You
Part One
Abi sat at the breakfast table smiling down at the diamond on her finger her heart still fluttering from remembering him proposing last night,
"Morning babe!" Jay says smiling over at her as she beams over at him,
"Morning Jay! You want me to make you something?" Jay shakes his head before lightly kissing her cheek,
"Better get to work. How bout we meet for lunch later?"
"Great. Uh Jay are you going to tell Ben?"
"Why not abs? You weren't the one that broke things between you two that was all Ben!"
"I know. It's just I don't know I still want to tell him properly?" Jay sighs lightly wrapping his arm around her,
"You always amaze me abi. How forgiving and kind you are. If you don't want him knowing that's fine we'll tell him tonight"
"Thank you Jay" Jay gave her a kiss before heading out their small flat which they had gotten a month ago. Abi tidied the kitchen before heading over to see Whitney knowing that she would have heard from Lauren,
"Alright babe?" Whitney asks her as soon as Abi enters the pub,
"Oh good thanks. I was wondering if you'd heard from Lauren?"
"Yesterday. She not called you?"
"No. I need to speak to her and tell her my news!" Abi says missing her sister more than ever sensing this Whitney pulls out her laptop and click onto Skype,
"Well we better get hold of her!" Abi grins happily as she sits beside Whitney waiting to see Lauren's face.
Abi goes over to the caff waiting on Jay her thoughts on Lauren and how happy she was for her!
"Hey babe! How has your day been?!" Jay asks kissing her cheek and sitting himself opposite her,
"Well I've just Skype Lauren!"
"Really? How is she babe?"
"Good. She almost ready to burst. She was really pleased for us. I wish she was here!" Abi says her hand in jay's,
"I know Abs. Look maybe when we both save up we could go and visit her?" Abi smiles appreciatively over at Jay,
"You really think we could do that?"
"Yeah why not baby? Just us two now Abs we can go wherever we wanted!" Abi smiles at the very thought as she leans forward and kisses him,
"Jay one day. For now we have a wedding to plan and pay for!" Jay nods squeezing her hand into his,
"Well any ideas what you'd like future Mrs Brown?" Jay asks making Abi think,
"How about we get married in a few months time?"
"Yeah. Anything my Abs wants! Few months it is!" Over lunch they continued with ideas as they agreed over the weekend will find venues to hold the wedding. Abi and Jay head over towards the arches arm in arm,
"Jay where you been?!" Ben asks flustered,
"On my lunch. We got talking"
"Hey Ben..." Abi asks feeling uncomfortable as Ben mumbles a hello,
"Actually Jay and I was wondering if you fancied coming over ours tonight?"
"Yours? Why would you want me there?" Ben asks frowning in confusion,
"Look Ben I want to start getting back on track again. Also me and Jay have something we want to tell you"
"Fine. What time?"
"Say six?"
"Fine. See you both then!" Abi leaves them both to get on with their work while she goes to prepare herself for later, she entered the shop scanning for food she could cook chewing her lip as she really needed her family around her right now and yet they were all far away! She followed the lump in her throat as she made her way back home knowing that all she needed was Jay.
