Tumbling Down
Pain pierced through my heart
As the hateful words sprouted out form your mouth.
"It's over between us." You said.
I laughed thinking it was a joke.
But the look on your face told me otherwise.
Next thing I knew
You closed the door on me.
I shed my tears on the rain
The rumble of the thunder
My heart tumbled to the ground.
I let my feet be my guide.
Keep on going without the sense of direction.
I stumbled down in the rain.
Bleed oozed out from my hands.
On my knee
I looked up
I thought my feet guided me out
But my heart won
I was back in front or your apartment
Begging and crying for you to take me back
I promised to change my way
Just so I could be once again with you
Yet the door still close
I stayed in the rain
Now I realized without you
My world in tumbling down piece to piece.
Until there's no more of the piece to fall.
