Susan looks at the board and sighs as she sees the long list of patients.

"Just another day, huh?" Luka asks.

"Yeah."

Kerry and sandy are in the lounge drinking coffee.

"You need to talk to me, Kerry. This is a rough time for the both of us. This isn't just about you."

"What should I talk about?" Kerry asks quietly.

"How you're dealing with this. I'm sad too. But you don't talk to me. You're shutting me out! And I can't stand that!"

Susan enters the lounge and upon seeing the two she looks embarrassed.

"We'll talk about it later." Kerry says quietly trying to get Sandy to stop talking.

"Which means we won't talk about it." Sandy says angrily.

"You know, now isn't the time for this. I have to get back." Kerry makes her way out of the lounge.

"Big fight?" Susan asks.

"When isn't it a fight?" Sandy says a bit harshly. "She's having a tough time dealing with it. I got tickets for the symphony. She doesn't want to go. Those tickets cost me a lot of money! I even got the night off."

"When I was in New York I lived on Broadway." Susan says.

"You want to go with me?"

"Oh, well, uh, wouldn't Kerry be upset?" Susan stammers. "I mean, you know."

"We're just friends, Susan. Besides I'll have you home before curfew." Sandy says charmingly.

"What the hell. I haven't been out since the Beatles." Susan says.

"When you're off?"

Susan looks at her watch, "Five minutes ago. Wait a minute. I'm not dressed appropriately."

"No. You look good. Come on. We don't want to be late."

Abby watches from behind the admit desk as Susan and Sandy leave the hospital. She turns around and sees Weaver signing to a deaf girl. Abby shrugs her shoulders.

"I need a drink." She says a little louder than expected.

"What's that?" Carter asks.

"I need a shrink. I need psyche to come down." Abby recovers.

"Aren't you off? We have that fundraiser thing to go tonight. Remember?"

"Yeah. Let's go." Abby says absentmindedly.

Susan and sandy sit in her Explorer listening to "Lose Yourself outside of Susan's apartment.

"Thanks again. I had a good time." Susan says.

"No problem. Goodnight."

"Thanks again." Susan says as she gets out of the car. "You want to come in? Just for a cup of coffee or whatever."

"I should get going. I have to get up early tomorrow." Sandy says quietly. Susan slams the door shut to the jeep and watches as Sandy drives off.

Susan opens her door and sighs.

"Just another day." She says to herself quietly.
