Author's Note: This takes place before the series. I don't have anything witty or interesting to say.

Scarlett shouldn't have taken that babysitting job. Georgia Hansen was a nightmare. Scarlett had been fooled by her cute round face and curly blonde hair in pigtails. On the outside, Georgia was a cherub but on the inside she was the devil.

For most thirteen year old girls living in the western world, babysitting was one of the only career choices they had. Scarlett was one of those girls.

Her parents were friends with the Hansen's. That's how she got this job. Mr. and Mrs. Hansen said they'd be back at nine.

It was nearly eight and Scarlett couldn't take this anymore. Georgia was awful. Nothing Scarlett did ever seemed to make her happy.

"SCAAARLYYY." Georgia's high-pitched scream pierced through the air. Scarlett groaned and trudged up the stairs to Georgia's room.

"What?" Scarlett asked.

Georgia's lips trembled as tears formed at her eyes. "There's a monster in my closet."

Scarlett rolled her eyes. "I'm sure there's no monsters."

"Check." Georgia's cuteness won Scarlett over.

"Oh alright." Scarlett sighed and stepped into Georgia's room.

... and on a flat block made of legos. Scarlett sucked in a breath before shrieking. Georgia erupted in laughter directed at Scarlett's misfortune. "Oh you little brat." Scarlett hissed. Scarlett hopped on her uninjured foot around the lego block. Georgia tried to run out the room but Scarlett blocked the doorway. "No, no, no. " Scarlett shook her finger. "You're not getting away with this." Scarlett crouched so she and Georgia were eye to eye. "You're grounded. Clean up your toys and don't leave this room until dinner or if you need to use the bathroom."

Georgia pouted. "You can't ground me. You're just the babysitter."

Scarlett crossed her arms and stood up completely straight. "Your parents put me in charge of you. Therefore I can ground you."

Georgia swiftly kicked Scarlett's leg. As Scarlett was distracted with her leg, Georgia ran out the room. That didn't last long. Soon Scarlett had gotten over the pain and chased after Georgia.
